These Crunchwraps are quite filling on their own, but if you’re looking for a side, try our Copycat Air Fryer Taco Bell Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes or a simple side salad. Chips and salsa also make a great accompaniment!
How can I make my Crunchwrap spicier?
For those who love a kick, consider adding diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled), a sprinkle of cayenne pepper to your beef seasoning, or swapping out some of the regular cheese for pepper jack cheese. A dash of your favorite hot sauce or some chopped green chiles would also be fantastic!

Key Ingredients for Your Homemade Crunchwrap Supreme
Making these copycat Crunchwraps requires a few simple ingredients, most of which you probably already have on hand. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Lean Ground Beef: The base for our savory filling. Feel free to swap with ground turkey, cooked chicken, steak, or even vegetarian options like refried or black beans.
- Taco Seasoning: An essential for that authentic Taco Bell flavor. We love using the Taco Bell brand seasoning for the closest taste.
- Burrito-Sized Flour Tortillas: You’ll need these larger tortillas to wrap everything up perfectly.
- Street Taco Sized Tortillas: These smaller tortillas are key to creating the sealed crunchwrap.
- Tostada Shells: The secret to the signature crunch in the middle! You’ll need one for each crunchwrap.
- Nacho Cheese Sauce: For that creamy, cheesy goodness. Rico’s nacho cheese is a fan-favorite for mimicking Taco Bell’s version.
- Sour Cream, Shredded Lettuce, Diced Tomatoes: Classic toppings that add freshness and creaminess.
- Spray Oil: To coat the pan when cooking the crunchwraps, ensuring a golden, crispy exterior.

- First Layer – Beef: Evenly distribute a quarter of the seasoned ground beef onto the center of the large tortilla.

- Creamy Top: Spoon ¼ cup of sour cream over the nacho cheese.
- Fresh Toppings: Top with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes.
- Seal the Deal: Place one small street taco-sized tortilla directly over the toppings.
- Fold and Wrap: Carefully fold the edges of the large burrito tortilla over the small street taco tortilla, working your way around to create a sealed packet.
